Are you sure you’re doing the right thing, or just following the Masses?
By Wiley C Kronkite
I have only recently begun writing for the Paranormal Herald and as you have seen, it would appear that there was almost a change of hierarchies. It was rather refreshing to see that the legal team stepped in to rectify issues without outside disruptions, but as it may have been, It matters little to me one way or the other surrounding who gets to make the call about the stories and or the articles being presented. I write what I see and only what is prevalent. Of course I have watched the slam sessions taking place between a certain pair and frankly, I can’t make heads or tails of it, but I have watched each side stake their claims. One side parting out the truth that surrounds a self proclaimed “no body”, with multiple names, as well as a person that has left people broken in a wake of disaster at just about every event he has slithered her name into. What’s the best word to use? Shameful.
The other is something of a fireball. Mr. Jenson, a rebel on all accounts. He has had to weather the storm of accusation, after accusation, that stemmed from the likes of somebody that He was pretty good with a Photoshop program, years ago – who also had a whole lot of free time on their hands, creating great story lines to go with each extorted wrinkle. Each fascinating story was then twisted, rewritten and resubmitted for others to be entertained by. With all these facts in mind, it should be said that contrary to popular belief, I actually can read and make a noble attempt to write; therefore, I do have the ability to think beyond just someone’s written words, and calculate, investigate and take things for what they are.
Believe it or not, I actually can establish my own thoughts with findings and establish a reasonable hypothesis. So where does it leave me as being fastened to the Paranormal Herald. Right where I was when I began!
I have written nothing that can be debunked, as the evidence and supporting information remains true. I have made no statements that can’t be wagered on without allowing any reader to go investigate for themselves.
I have made no claims to being a superhero, villain or threat, especially to anyone that has nothing to hide. And, I have not openly slandered anyone with conjecture. That wouldn’t be right, no matter how you spin it. What I have done is provide all of you that read my articles to seek out your own conclusions as to what has been reported. I am not the word of God, nor do I preach it, but when I’m vested in reporting on right and wrong, my line of facts have remained as strong and clear as when they were first penned to paper, for that I can only offer this; anyone that wants to take a side regardless of the facts that are laid out in front of them, ignoring that actions have hurt more than just a handful of people, but rather the entire community, so be it.
I can’t make anyone do anything. But, in using your disbelief’s to shadow the facts that wrong was done – you are a hypocrite. Or, you are unable to differentiate between good and bad, right and wrong.
This on-going battle over the Gettysburg Battlefield Bash has consumed too many people. It has divided what appeared to be friends and has exposed would be friends as foes. I have tried to maintain a course which has been steered by evidence and facts. This information that has been reported is established for readers to evaluate and define. Readers must establish right and wrong using their own core beliefs and not swayed by the words implied by fans or friends that follow the masses. Remember, if you follow the masses, sometimes the “M” is silent.
Throughout this entire ordeal, you would think that someone, somewhere, would say enough is enough and simply state that there is enough hurt mixed in the pot; so, throw down the cards and let the truth set the table clean, but that hasn’t happened, nor does it appear that it will. In this case, everyone loses. The Veterans, for whom the money was to be used to help, the city of Gettysburg, who opened its doors for the event to happen, the good people that mustered up the goodwill to support it with cash and gifts and even those that took days off of work to work the event. This great divide is all seemingly been done to support the extravagant life styles of only two people (Pamela and Steven Barry), who’s only goal was to play on the good of everyone, while giving less than the minimum back to remain un- noticed. The only drawback is that they got caught. Through lie after lie and scheme after ploy, they continue to roll up more people into a diversionary mess that they have assembled and continue to feed false hopes that there’s something good going to come out of this. Sorry but facts are facts and numbers won’t lie. And, to those that are still carrying the “Barry” battle banner have yet to produce one true item related to justifying $20,000.00+ of missing funds in just the first year of the Gettysburg Battlefield Bash.
Here’s an idea for you… How about letting the Barry’s speak for themselves, as they have only managed to entice people with a few notations, such as permit fee costs, which has been debunked as there were no fees paid (debunked – Free), Zoning fees (debunked – Free), Hall Rental (debunked – Free), Electrical fees (debunked – Paid for by attending Vendors), and that is just for starters. Let’s not forget, had it not been for the watchful eye of one particular group who made a $600.00 donation at the 2017 event, I’m drawn to a conclusion that these funds would have not made it to the charity it was donated for, if it wasn’t for the persistent questioning as to why it was not posted on the Wounded Warriors Website.
Even still it took the Barry’s 250+ days after the event to allow it to find its way there. We can rehash all this at a later date if needed, but these are facts, not guesses, these are not just accusations shot from the hip and if you can’t understand the issues behind the problem at hand, maybe you should revisit your own ideas of your own core values. If for some reason you are a new reader, I would suggest taking a trip through the articles prior. This might clear your vision as to what has occurred.
Good and bad exist in everything, just imagine if you were the recipient that has been duped and lied too, scammed, and then used as a pawn to defend or support every bad choice they took. Enough about the pit falls of personal core values, as stated, I can’t make you do anything, and trust me, your opinion won’t sway mine. My father taught me long ago, to be straight and forward, only speak the truth. His lesson was self-explained to me and the first result was finding that I sleep better at night.
I have had enough emails that have been supportive to this cause that I can’t count them. I have had more than a handful of emails passed to me that have called me everything from an atheist to some dirty names that I’ve never heard spoken before. There are one’s that have tried to deface me with threats of violence, with several that have asked me for God’s forgiveness and to just let this situation resolve its self, but then there are several half witted emails trying to extort me, trying to create false and hideous defamations on a personal level. Through all of that, I have not responded to any one of them. I have stayed my course. But, I will admit, as did Doc Holiday in movie, Wyatt Earp, “My hypocrisy can only go so far.”
Regardless of who is driving the Paranormal Herald’s boat, or who is actually making the call as to the stories I reveal, I will not vest the time or the talents in justifying half witted, uneducated or irrelevant communications surrounding the stated actions of the “Gettysburg Bash Bandits” and/or their lack in responding to the demanded explanations from those that they have insulted. That‘s left up to the readers and to those that have been done wrong to deal with.. And, when I say deal with I mean by your voice, by filing a complaint against them; it is you the reader that has to demand that justice be served and wrong made right. Just reading the events is one thing, but actually standing in the shadows hoping not to be spotted, while you hold a key point of important information, makes you just as guilty as the ones that did the deed.
The Office of Attorney General has issued a call to those that have been used and / or duped by this group. Any personal businesses that have offered services, products and/ or money which was to be gifted to the charity advertised, should contact the AG’s office to file a report.
To any Business that paid for a sponsorship for one of these annual events: The Gettysburg Battlefield Bash or issued payment to Pamela or Steven Barry, in care of the Critically Ill Children, Gettysburg Battlefield Bash. It is very important to contact the Office of Attorney General, file a complaint and establish that a deceptive action most likely had taken place with your business.
There will be a need to rectify annual reported Tax issues pertaining to your official accounting records. Here’s a link for those that have had time to evaluate the facts of this 3 year sham. If you have something that should be known, do the right thing… You’ll sleep better at night knowing that you did your part to help others. I certainly will… For now, enough said.
