There is a statement that has been used throughout the ages, that has been used to surmise just about every conceivable horrific action… I’m sure that you have heard it at one time or another…“And the truth, shall set you free.”
The feeding frenzy that is and has been taking place over the questions surrounding the possible misappropriations of funds donated to the Gettysburg Battlefield Bash and the involvement of Steven(Co-CEO of the Bash) and Pam Barry (Co-CEO of the Bash). The “Bash” was / is a charity function that was began in 2017, as a fund raiser for the national Wounded Warrior Project, but seemingly morphed into only supporting the PA Wounded Warriors Inc over the three year life of the “ Bash”.
The Herald has been accused of promoting false accusations and simply targeting two saints. That is sort of weird, since we never made the accusations. One thing for sure, is we have been under fire from many different sources. Somebody is sending out there attack dogs, but posting nothing on there own pages. HYMM wonder who would do something like that?
But, as the research of these suggested impropriates expanded, the” Bash” now has stated that it is supporting, Hero’s 4 Hire(a Paid 501c3 Charity Foundation), PA Wounded Warriors Inc., Critically Ill Children and as to the direct conversation with a relative of the Barry’s it has expanded to include St. Jude’s. Over the past three years of advertising the “Bash”, many opinions have been formed regarding just who and where this money has gone. Some have stated perhaps there funds went to buying expensive vehicles, such as this limo that was allegedly seen with Steve driving in it. Also this other vehicle, where Steve told or allegedly told Good Morning America, he uses it to drive critically ill children?
Oh news flash, somebody some forty miles from Gettysburg, had allegedly saw the Barry vehicle at some dollar type store. They took pictures to show folks. If there needs to be another article it will most likely be in there to.
I have written about just that, what is so difficult to prove or show or show some sort of actual accounting of the events funds and so forth? It seems the latter. let’s ridicule the source, or whom we think to be. just in case to save our sorry asses.
The Paranormal Herald has attempted to aid in setting the record straight, but has only been met with ill received emails and disgusting responses of legal law suits and of course questioning the character of this reporter. However, at no time has a submission of financial reports been extended as proof to put to rest that the allegations made are incorrect.
If these facts are incorrect, then I extend an invitation to either Pam Barry or Steven Barry to submit to the Paranormal Herald from their third party auditor for review. Why? Just so that there would be no miscommunications and that the Paranormal Herald can post without fears of the wrong data the financial report of the “Bash”.
After all, since there are no impropriates surrounding this Charity… And as a non-profit group, it is required that a third party accountant maintain records of assets and extended donations to and from the registered members at the PA Charitable Trusts for review as well as to the IRS Open 990 quarterly reports, in accordance to P.A law.
If you do not trust or believe us? Please look for your own selves.
This information is a public record. The answers are very easily found at the websites posted within the PA Department of State and or the PA Attorney General’s site. Since this information is public and or you have reservations as to the truth… Do a search and verify that facts for yourself… Don’t be quick to judge me, without actually looking it up yourself.
Making threats, writing articles of some sort of slander simply makes you look uneducated and to be perceived, as A bully of sorts. It does not subtract the information provided and does not hinder the said reporting in any fashion what so ever.
You know that The Paranormal Herald would never just throw caution into the wind without sticking its own head out the window to see if the sky is falling. Here Is A question that should be asked? In reviewing the Past Donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in 2017…. It has been stated that every penny has been accounted for. However, in reviewing the supplied facts of the event, it has been established that just around $21,617.00 was taken in on the known funds raised. Of course without the actual financial reports to review from the “Bash” Accountant… (Note** Have you found the donation report for the Wounded Warriors Project yet? That’s okay… It’s there I’ve posted it for you…) It has been determined that the cost of a table to be a vendor at the event was $110.00, based upon the 80 tables sold, (as it was stated that it was sold out) and that the head count through the door over the three days was over 1000 attending. The cost to enter was $10.00 a person. That’s a total of $18800.00. There were small games of chance, 50/50 tickets sold, a Silent Auctions, Coin Jugs distributed and collected. The event took in donations from other businesses as sponsor for the event and more…. But we aren’t even going to go there.
We are just going to focus on the simple facts at the present time, ~$18,800.00. And, the” Known Check” that was received from the Outlet Shops as pictured for $217.00
and the “Known Donation” that was given by the Ghost Pit people, in the amount of $600.00 (I’ve supplied a screenshot that was submitted to The Paranormal Herald, when balancing the Wounded Warrior Project Donation site) https://fundraise.woundedwarriorproject.org/rtt/Fundraising/Individual/40512375/Donors?by=3 .
That creates a known spreadsheet that totals $19,617.00. It’s actually a very impressive number for a first time fundraising event.
However.. . First Grade addition is simple math. If you have two bowls of applesauce and if one bowl gets contaminated … How many good bowls are left? In this case…, According to the math here… lots!
As per the donations of 2017 “Bash” that are listed, only two donations were placed. One for $25.00, which is from the Barry’s, while a second one was made in the amount of $600.00, again only in Steven Barry’s name. We know that the $600.00 was from the Ghost Pit, but the Barry’s claimed it as being out of their own pocket. Still that leaves the question about the left over $192.00 from the Gettysburg Outlet Shoppes Check…..????
So tell us…
Tell everyone !! What happened to the rest of the $ 18,992.00 from the 2017 event?
I have been told that a list of all those that were responsible working the “Bash” as volunteers, and the jobs that they oversaw has been submitted for review. I’m sure that the truth about the other money collected will soon rise to the top when the proper authorities begin digging for answers and numbers…
The Paranormal Herald just finds it so hard to believe that with all those that have been scammed into donating their time, money and items to such an event, are not offended in the fact that they couldn’t claim the value of their time and efforts for such a great cause on their taxes… Because,… the Barry’s may have or had allegedly claimed it all for you, ….On theirs.
However I did see a screenshot of the thank you that each got for donating your efforts at this year “Bash”. According to the ad I saw, a picnic on the 21st of September… and now they want you to bring your own food to feed them….!!
Ok What Ever.
Actually the Paranormal Herald is very impressed as to the known funds accounted for and it will be enlightening to see just how much was really raised !!! Keep in mind that this can be cleared up in no time with a third party account’s form Open 990…?
What can I say…? “The Truth Shall Set You Free” or maybe it is easier to say “Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire”.
This is what it is. I have no grudges, no stake at watching two supposed saints wondering about, but if there is wrong doing. I will seriously take pride in the amounts of work it has taken and will also be forever thankful, for those that have came forward under scrutiny, as many now have. The paranormal Herald gets beat down, slandered on a lot of articles, minus ones hiding of course. We take most of the blows with gratitude knowing, we have actually put criminals behind bars, reported for news stories covered and saved others from paranormal fraud inside the entertainment world and can safely say, we will be bringing the news, as it is being seen. People have no idea, they see articles coming and say Evans at it again, but did they even realize, who brought the info to us and where it originated from? of course not.
A recent article was written about me, it is pure slander. I have been letting things go, but to Kenny Biddle who wrote it, well as a scientific person ,as he claims. He sure has some vested interest in this case. The truth to the said reality, is that he isn’t even important enough to write about.
