In late December 1980, there were a series of reported sightings of unexplained lights near Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, England. The events occurred just outside RAF Woodbridge, which was used at the time by the United States Air Force and were witnessed by USAF personnel, including deputy base commander Lieutenant Colonel Charles I. Halt.
The occurrence is the most famous of claimed UFO events to have happened in the United Kingdom, ranking among the best-known reported UFO events worldwide. It has been compared to the Roswell UFO incident in the United States and is sometimes referred to as “Britain’s Roswell” The Ministry of Defence (MoD) stated the event posed no threat to national security, and it therefore never was investigated as a security matter.
Skeptics have explained the events as a misinterpretation of a series of nocturnal lights – a fireball, the Orfordness Lighthouse and bright stars. to people whom had witnessed it, it has became much more.
The Rendlesham forest incident is being called the Roswell of England, but was it really? it does seem with one mans book being slowed to a halt and publishers refusing to publish, some trouble in the alien world has definitely caught other peoples attention.
Some of you have been following the repeated posts and this continued saga of whom did what, but do you all know what it is about truly? well neither had we ,until we interviewed, did some fact checking and got some details that are specific to this particular case. What we found was somewhat disturbing and sensational .
It is not the actual incident that is being subjected to scrutiny, but it is the authored book “Left At East Gate”, as well as ridiculous claims made by Warren himself, that has came under serious scrutiny by even its own publishers.
With outlandish and rather bold claims made by one larry Warren,it was not to difficult to tell who was fabricating and who was not. Some of M.R Warrens claims are that he signed Metallica? well to stop that fabrication from spreading, according to this link,it proves he certainly did not.
MR Warren has stated many things such as he PAD the Beach Boys. Is A Hell’s Angel and has made other claims such as, sseeing A doctor who is a b0one specialist, then a mysterious document allegedly shows this bone doctor as a doctor who treated him and gave him an eye check up.The problem with this document was that the doctor is this guy and had no contact with M.R Warren.

Mr. Larry P. Warren January 22, 2018
Mr. Peter Robbins
Some of you are aware that Cosimo Books, the publisher of “Left At East Gate” since 2005, issued a press release this past October stating they had decided to temporarily suspend the book’s publication and distribution pending an in-house investigation into the truthfulness of my coauthor’s written account. Their investigation complete, Larry Warren and I were notified of the following earlier today:
The response read as following from the said publisher.
We refer to the Publishing Services Agreement between Larry D. Warren (“Warren”), Peter Robbins ( “Robbins”) and Cosimo, Inc. ( “Publisher”) regarding your literary work entitled LEFT AT EAST GATE (the “Work”) dated as of September 19, 2005 (the “Agreement”).
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 14 of the Agreement that the Publisher is hereby immediately terminating its publication of the Work pursuant to the provisions of the second sentence of said Paragraph 14 and is also simultaneously immediately terminating the Agreement in response to the requests of Warren and Robbins.
Pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 14 of the Agreement, the Publisher shall pay any accrued royalty income along with a statement of account with respect to the Work to Robbins who understands to forward the same to Warren.
Very truly yours,
Alexander M. Dake
The operative provision in Paragraph 14 is “Upon giving sixty (60) days advance notice, PUBLISHER may terminate publication of the WORK without cause..”
Despite a stack of personal feelings about all this, Cosimo Books had my support and encouragement in their decision to temporary suspend our book from publication, as they have in this decision to permanently suspend its publication. 30+ years ago I signed on to coauthor a nonfiction book. Not a partially nonfiction book.
One man hell bent on doing his best to make aware of false or allegedly false claims made by Larry Warren is none other then Chuck Halt. chuck Halt was the base commander and A L.T Colonel who witnessed the actual incident that particular day. He openly states M.R Warren was not there, as he would have known so.
L.T Colonel Chuck Halt wrote A book called The Halt Perspective.
A successful conference took place on the 11th July 2015, at Woodbridge Community Centre, Suffolk, United Kingdom, involving a talk by retired USAF Colonel Charles Irwin Halt (who was previously a Deputy Base Commander at RAF Woodbridge, during the 1980s) with regard to his involvement following reports of UFO activity over the airbase.
Unfortunately, the publicised event, which was organised by Mr. John Hanson (publisher of the Haunted Skies series of books) together with Mrs. Brenda Butler, was overshadowed by threats of disruption posted by a number of people, who clearly felt that this lecture should not take place.
Following the event, Charles Halt then asked retired UK Police Officer – John Hanson, if he would be interested in publishing a book documenting the facts from his personal perspective, rather than reported inaccuracies.
John agreed, believing that it would allow him the opportunity to include other UFO sightings reported in the Suffolk (UK) area – together with some ‘classic’ British UFO encounters from other parts of the country. This would then illustrate that, contrary to the media’s perception, the airmen were not the only ones to encounter something out of the ordinary. The foreword to this book was submitted by Mr. Nick Pope, (author and lecturer of the UFO subject) who was previously an employee of the British Ministry of Defence, but now living in the United States. At the conclusion of this book is an afterword submitted by Mr. Robert Hastings (an author and UFO researcher). The book forms part of a unique series devoted to recording the social history of mysterious and bizarre events that have occurred during the 20th Century. It is enhanced by a huge number of illustrations and photographs, in colour, and includes candid opinions expressed by Nick Pope, Charles Halt, Jim Penniston and others, in order to set the record straight, despite continuing threats from those members of the UFO fraternity who had strong reservations about the publication of this book.
