Former A&E reality star Ryan Daniel Buell waives trial by jury

After speaking with the Pennsylvania States College municipal court house in specific regards to former charges being brought against one Ryan Daniel Buell. We learned that M.R. Buell has since his last hearing waved his rights to trial by jury, to instead have a judge hear the said case.

Ryan Buell, has since been allowed set bail and is out pending further court action.


Buell was arrested on Sept. 18 in Florence County S.C., the state where he grew up. Then was later extradited back to States College PA.

There is no specific  times arranged for this said trial as of yet. After speaking with the court and the clerk about the said charges, it is believed, that the said charges listed on the document have not changed.

Ryan Buell is expected to face criminal charges of Theft of leased property, receiving stolen property and theft of services.

The Erie Echo writes”Former “Paranormal State” star Ryan Buell has been arrested in South Carolina. Buell was arrested on September 18 and is currently being held in the Florence County Jail on a detainer from Centre County, Pennsylvania for felony theft charges.

On August 25, Buell was arrested in Pennsylvania by the State College Police Department and charged with two third degree felonies and a first degree misdemeanor, for Theft of Leased Property, Receiving Stolen Property, and Theft of Services. After posting bail, Buell later fled to South Carolina where he was arrested on a warrant and is awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania

Yesterday, Buell’s mother made a plea to his fans to stop helping him. Shelly Bonavita Lundberg wrote an open letter to the “Paranormal State” star’s fans on Facebook asking them not to send her son money.


It is unclear at this time if Buell is fighting extradition from South Carolina back to Pennsylvania. Buell can sit up to 30 to 90 days in jail on the detainer depending if he signs the extradition waiver or not.c1

A celebrity ghost hunter who once lived in Raleigh is behind bars.

Ryan Daniel Buell, 34, is facing two felony charges related to theft and stolen property.

He’s also facing a misdemeanor charge of theft of services. All charges are in Centre County, Penn., where Buell was last known to be living. Buell was arrested on Sept. 18 in Florence County S.C., the state where he grew up.
