Ex “ Paranormal State” star, Ryan Daniel Buell, plans on returning to Canada among prior event planning disaster..

Ex “ Paranormal State” star, Ryan Daniel Buell, plans on returning to Canada among prior event planning disaster..  This may be true,  or it may be Buell’s way of getting attention.  Whatever the case,  he may be returning  to Canada but do Canadian people want him back in the very same place he was alleged to have scammed?  This, by far is a better question than “Is he going to return?”.

Just recently on Buell’s  own fan page, he posted he was planning to return to Canada, this year.

No, this is not an article to hinder, bother or poke fun at the once popular star on the A&E Entertainment’s  “Paranormal State”  but it is a major concern, considering what happened before with the said events in Canada. The events that were charged for, but never happened.

Buell, in 2014, had a tour in Canada scheduled called  “Paranormal, The Experience Tour”as well as “Speaking To The Dead, both events were never to happen..  Events were supposedly set for April 4th in Ottawa and April 5th and 6th, in Toronto. These venues were a “no show”  and people were left with no refund and no entertainment packages what so ever.

Following is the news link for Channel 11 news link citing Ryan Buell and the fans, who want  their refunds back.

The Ryan Buell story forward:

Ryan Buell was alleged to have taken money through both Paypal and other sources but there was a definite problem, no events were ever booked. Internationally  known psychic, Chip Coffey came forward live on news in Raleigh North Carolina, stating he had earned a large amount of money from the said event but did not book the venues, hotels and so forth.

Ryan Daniel Buell blames Internationally known psychic, Chip Coffey for his failed paranormal events in Canada.

What does one say about  someone who believes their own lies?  Ryan Buell openly states that folks have been paid back.  If this is so, why are there folks complaining about not getting their money back?  There happens to be no less than 50 similar complaints,  just on one of Ryan’s pages,  from people  who were cheated out of their money either due to Paypal issues, Ryan’s lack of  wanting to take their money, or lost air fares, hotel fees and  general lodging costs.

In Ryan Buell’s own chanted rant, long winded as it may be,  has blamed everything from mental illness, to even psychic celebrity Chip Coffey, for a reason as to his failed events in 2014, in Canada.

Chip Coffey spoke  his mind to reporters as to why he backed out of the event, now mind you, this was after some of Buell’s  events had already went south; not before. The link below is the troubleshooters report, directly from channel 11 news in Raleigh,  North Carolina. Dianne Wilson reported:

This article on “The Paranormal Herald” breaks down  exactly, the things Ryan Buell’s  ex-fans have been complaining about and the article is based on said facts obtained from many outside sources.

Ryan Buell cancels paranormal tour, claims health problems (UPDATE: Fans file complaints)

Ryan D. Buell states,  “If I were being investigated by the Feds, I’m sure I’d be made aware of that. It’d be strange that you and others would know and I’d be left in the dark. While I was away on personal leave, a team handled refund requests, and many people have openly posted that they have received their refunds. They followed the steps that our team laid out. Yet strangely the claims of refunds always gets ignored. It’s possible that some fell through the cracks. After being away for so long I’ve started looking in to the records involving this issue. Events get cancelled all the time for unfortunate reasons. After 14 years, we’ve only had to cancel a few events prior to last year, all due to personal reasons. Chip did indeed exit the event before it was scheduled to happen, which prompted us to need additional time to find a co-presenter and even more time to adjust to the change. When we have more facts, we will continue to make sure we rectify the situation. But the proof is there that we’ve made an effort, as we have done so in the past. In fact, PRS is also the only paranormal group that allows credits for people who pay to attend an event but end up not being able to attend. In the real world, you forfeit your ticket if you don’t show up. But we’ve honored the credit policy throughout. We just held an event last month that went well and we have one at the end of the month. I’m sorry some of you feel the way you do, but we have to keep moving forward. In addition to that, there were many people who jumped on the wagon just to throw more wood on the fire for different motives. It’s been 15 months. I’m assuming I’d receive at least a letter from some government office by now if we did something wrong. We had a similar fiasco happen back in 2012 where people claimed we were being hunted by the Feds. People can issue complaints or make up things, but in the end, we made an effort to rectify the situation and we continue to do so. But that doesn’t sound as sensational or as catchy as the fraud claims do. It is indeed taking us time to look at everything, from our lawyers, to the staff that handled it last year to revisiting it now. We are confident that we are moving forward at a good pace and incidentally we hope to post a form page within a month once more for those who still claim they didn’t receive any refunds. We can only do this so many times. All the best, R”.

Currently, these folks are saying Mr. Buell  did not pay them back.  The following  statement  was made in reference to the Boston event.

Roz Verone says, “ I paid for an event in Boston for three tickets and never got my money back. I’m a huge fan of you and your show but I would never buy tickets for any other event that you are involved in… afraid I’d be out $100’s of dollars again. I got tons of emails about a refund, contacted many people and still nothing came about. I am still awaiting a refund”.

Verone goes on to say, “ I know he had health problems. We were told to contact multiple people promoting the group and no responses after awhile, except news reporters and other groups and messages that their was no more money. I stayed a fan as I knew he had health problems and gave the whole group, (as it was his group) the benefit of the doubt  that they needed the money more money than  myself but I would probably not risk buying tickets for another one of  his lectures for the future, after what happened. You would understand if it happen to you and you experience it”.

Carolyn Kennedy Roz has a similar account.  “I saw a segment on the news in NC that mentioned the local police set up a line to take reports from people scammed out of their money for those particular lectures. I never called because I told myself he used the money for his treatment, which he needed more than I needed the refund, despite the fact I was a new mother.  I also stayed a fan because of his health issues and because I genuinely like his work with the paranormal.  However, I will never, ever, trust him with my money again”.

Kandis Harrington and Ky Barnes said they are still fans, or “they wouldn’t be on his page”. Maybe you should just reply with a “Baaa baa baa”,  since you seem to be dead set on being a sheep. This is a well known fact and Ryan is even being prosecuted by feds for scamming people out of their ticket money.

Carolyn Kennedy read the article in  KY and had this to say, “These are facts. This happened more than once to a lot of fans. Feel free to disagree with our emotions on the issue, but facts are facts. Thousands of people lost money in more than one event over two to three years. Two prominent guest speakers (psychics) Michelle Belanger and Chip Coffey both had to bow out consecutively, which was smart PR because they don’t want to be associated with this less than savory business. It is what it is”.

Caroline Rawa states, “Same happened to me for an event that was supposed to be in Chicago. I received emails  about refunds and was asked to fill out an online form, then nothing.  I also stayed a fan, but I was very disappointed about the way things worked out. I feel it was dishonest. I emailed them several times after I had filled out the form. If you choose to spend your hard earned cash, I hope it works out”.

Amy Wilson Vandermer says, “Instead of spending time planning new events, spend more time cleaning up the issues with the past events and do what you can to get people their refunds. Put all your efforts toward cleaning up that mess, make that situation right, then move forward with a clean slate”.
