After a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy, a chronic and incurable disease, Kathy Zuniga’s son, Trevor Zuniga, just 23 years old, passed away on January 28th, 2016. Unfortunately, the battle did not end there. The family is now fighting the city of Champion, in Ohio to keep the statue of Trevor’s beloved Bigfoot on his grave-site.
There is been a petition brought forward,to help assist the family in bringing back Trevor’s Sasquatch memorial head stone. We urge all our readers and friends to help get this petition to 1,000 signatures please sign and support one families fight to honor there son.
The family was comforted by the idea of having the statue of Bigfoot close to the grave. It was something that Trevor developed a passion for, during his brief life of 23 years. It would seem that one tragic battle would be enough for the family of Trevor. Instead, the neighboring grave-site owner has engaged them in a new battle. They were offended by the statue and it’s backside. The neighboring grave side visitors complained to the city and Trevor’s Bigfoot which was lovingly given to the site by his Uncle, was removed. When Trevor’s family went to visit him on his first birthday after passing, it was gone.
Trevor Zunigas’s mother, Kathy had this to say “It is something that we know as Trevor. It is something that he really liked, the family knew he liked. We all associated him with Trevor,” Zuniga said. “He was somebody who was there, and I could come and talk to and I could touch him. He was somebody who was there with Trevor.”
Champion Township Sexton Chris Connelly, said the township contacted the family and asked them to remove the statue. When it was still standing three weeks later, the township moved the statue to an area behind a utility garage.
We at the Paranormal Herald are asking for the help of our friends in bringing back Sasquatch, “so this family can finally get a break”, as said by a close friend of the family. Attached is a petition to the township to bring back Trevor’s Bigfoot. At last count, there were over 2,100 signatures of the 2,500 required. Our readers alone, could make a difference. Let’s bring back Sasquatch for Trevor and his family!
