The Paradigm Symposium Redux, has been cancelled from their prior event date of October 1-4, 2015.Their current date is been reset for May 12-15, 2016.The actual questions are why exactly.
Paranormal Herald:”What we do know,is that Scotty Roberts is being accused of underhanded activity by Thomas Fusco over the cancellation and no refunds of his paradigm conference. What we also do know is that inside sources are now coming forward and the case or situation will be investigated further.
The most eclectic blend of esoteric minds in Alternative Research, Archaeological, Anthropological, Paranormal and Cosmological fields are landing in Minneapolis, MN for this special 4-day event, May 12-15, 2016. This was their website pages opening announcement.
Sometimes, business realities dictate, and the Paradigm Symposium 2015, originally slated for the traditional first-weekend-in-October date of October 1-4, 2015, needed to be rescheduled. The new date is MAY 12-15, 2016, and the Symposium will now be held at the Templar Lodge in western Minneapolis.
The site manager has posted to their events website page, that all tickets from the prior scheduled event, will be handled and can be applied by attending the May event in 2016. What the website does not disclose is how folks could get their refunds and also it does not describe any details about refunding hotel or air fare or bus fares used to attend the symposium.
Thomas Fusco was asked to please come forward and explain exactly what has been transpiring apparently for some time. But he declined and stated he was not ready to interview, with the Paranormal Herald.
I had a nearly two-hour conversation Monday evening with a gentleman who reports he was essentially swindled out of $20,000 with the Paradigm Symposium. His involvement also placed him in close contact with the goings-on behind the scenes. He used the term “con man” (his words, not mine). This poor man actually left his home and family and moved to that area based on promises that were never fulfilled. It’s a sad story indeed.
Since I have gone public with the PS scandal, several individuals with their own sad stories have come forward wanting to speak to me about this organization.
A post on another page:
“I am quite glad you spoke up Thomas. Ah, the truth. I have been reading your truth for the last few days across the social media arena. May I give you some advice? Stop, think, and wait before you type something. Put some thought into your actions-this is a skill that is learned, through mistakes. Because, even though it may make you feel triumphant at the time, others see, read and silently listen while their respect for you flees out the window”.
Thomas Fusco I hear you, sister. Forgive me (for you know how I care about you), but you speak of a motivation based on fear. There’s something different about me that distinguishes me from most other ‘gurus’ in the alternative genre and the wholesale garbage that they spew.. The reason why I and my work has been so respected is that it’s all about the truth! I never cared about popularity, for if I did, I would have taken the principles of my work and wove some sort of fantasy nonsense that would have sold a bundle! I never really cared about what people thought of me personally, never cared about how many events I was invited to or whether I would ever be on TV. Never even cared if my book was a best-seller (I knew it wouldn’t be). Never cared about popularity or making as much money as I could. My only care was that I had a great truth that I was obligated to share with others. Those others for which I devoted nearly 30 years preparing my life’s work were the genuine truth seekers. There’s not many of them, but they are my true family, my brothers and sisters. One of the reasons I’m sharing the truth about the subject of which you speak is to warn those truth-seekers and help them not be taken in as I was. Those brothers and sisters will always be with me because we share a common nature, and so I will always be with them as well. And we will always seek the truth regardless to whether the hidden agendas or selfish motives of others get bruised. What hurt I did suffer in certain others’ eyes whom I cared about was not my truth-telling, but my unwitting association with those who are corrupt. I will continue to speak out about that corruption. And the truth-tellers and truth seekers will value me for it, as I value them.
Remember, I published my work as an unknown in November 2011. No publicist, no agent, no connections with any ‘playas’ in the field. A nobody from nowhere. I was invited to speak on over 300 radio interviews in the next several years. I was on Coast to Coast AM after only five months of publishing. Members of the audience came to me after the couple of events at which I did speak and told me I stole the show, not for any charisma or skill in weaving stories, but on the content of my work compared to the pedestrian blah-blah or BS of others. All this from the strength of my work. Truth-tellers will continue to support me, corrupt cheats will continue to despise me, and the fickle will go wherever the fickleness leads them. Let them all speak, each from the substance that is within them. It has always been so.
There is always a risk associated with truth-telling. That’s why many do not do it out of fear. Or should I be silent out of fear of popularity loss? Had I such fear, I would have never published, and would still be unknown. No, that’s not me, and you know it, my sister.
I am both happy and proud to be defined by who my detractors are
