Better Than Crazy (2015)

Not Rated  |  91 min  |  Comedy  |  29 September 2015 (USA)
(voting begins after release)

Five cousins gather at a drunken family reunion. They sing country songs about snack foods, deal with paranormal threats from a dead aunt with dubious fashion sense, and crack more fat jokes per minute of film than any movie in history.

The madcap antics of a group of long out-of-touch cousins provides the comic backdrop for Better Than Crazy, available on DVD, Digital HD, and Vimeo On Demand on September 29, 2015 from Continuum Pictures and Buenos Tiempos Films. Amy Bruni (Ghost Hunters) stars in the film, along with Aaron Daley, Nick Leonti, Deborah O’Brien, Shawn Romias, and Katherine Fullenlove. Written and directed by Mike Restaino, this winner of an Aloha Accolade Award from the Honolulu International Film Festival will arrive on its multiple release platforms with exclusive bonus material, including behind-the-scenes footage, a making-of documentary by award-winning filmmaker Matt Gray, deleted and alternate scenes, outtakes, and a blooper reel.
The Director is Mike Restaino.  Writer, known for ShowChickens (2001), Better Than Crazy (2015) and CollegeTown USA (2003). Aaron Daley, Deborah O’Brien, Amy Bruni are the mentioned stars inside “Better Then Crazy.
Review time:
I did everything we could to watch the trailer to the entirety. If being drunk, poking fun at overweight people is a nice thing to do, this movie would be great. It’s in the opinion of The Paranormal Herald, that this movie should be shunned. It’s a wasted amount of space. It teaches aggression, cruelty and shows blatant disrespect to folks who have actual weight issues. That happens to be about one third of people today.
The film starts out tacky, ends about the same way. Not only does Ami Bruni, from Ghost Adventures alienate people inside the paranormal, but she alienates any person overweight. It is so disturbing and yet repulsive to think fans idolize the ex-star from Ghost Adventures.
The film shows several people  getting filthy drunk, singing, playing country music and simply making like they say, more fat jokes then any other film today. I have never heard a producer, such as this Mic Restraino be ever more so proud, of what looks and has to be a flop of all time.
To sum this review up, is yet another link, where the producers and writer uses the fact they make more fun of fat people, then any other movie in history. http://betterthancrazy.com/official-announce/

  1. This article went viral.because of the tackiness of the said movie itself, in many peoples opinions it lead to mis Bruni’s possible firing from her ghost shows.
